The Lean Master program from BMG University is designed to help you transition into your new role. Program Description
The road to Master certification includes nine requirements, five of which are one-week class electives. The courses are designed to build a mix of both hard and soft skills, and are offered multiple times throughout the year.

Additional certification requirements include leading 2 Kaizen events, mentoring 3 Lean Facilitator Candidates as they lead a total of 9 kaizen events, a score of 90 percent or higher on the exam, Final Reports on each event, and nomination by a BMGI Lean Master.

Once enrolled in the system, we provide you with one of our experienced instructors to coach you through the certification process. You are also given immediate access to BMG University�s 24-hour online support portal where you can download project templates and tools, view interactive lectures and take quizzes to test your knowledge at any time.

Classroom Training
You must successfully complete the five classes below.

• Basic Lean - A four-day program designed to show participants how to integrate Lean with Six Sigma and how to maximize the benefits from both methodologies. Choose from Manufacturing or Transactional course.
• Advanced Lean - A five-day course for candidates with previous Lean experience (from any industry). Students learn how to apply Lean tools to specific situations in the context a Lean Kaizen event.
• Lean Kaizen Workshop - This 3-day workshop leverages a compressed timeframe to give you a taste of what actually occurs before, during and after a Lean Kaizen Event. You'll discover how to choose, motivate and manage team members. In addition, you'll learn how to maximize and document financial results, as well as learn about BMGI's SCORE methodology, a highly-successful approach to planning, executing and evaluating Kaizen events.
• Train the Trainer Workshop - A truly invaluable five-day experience for anyone who coaches or instructs Six Sigma professionals. It provides critical skills for the "how to's" of inspiring learners.
• Change Leadership Workshop - A five-day program built for individuals that will be supporting and driving change initiatives. It teaches a three-step change management process, team tools and other skills necessary to enable participants to quickly integrate change into a culture.

Examinations
You must pass one exam with a 90 percent score or higher.

Kaizen Events
Lead 2 kaizen events under the supervision of a Lean Master. Mentor 3 Lean Facilitators as they lead a total of 9 kaizen events.

Final Reports
A Final Report for each event must be submitted.

Nomination
You must be recommended for certification by a BMGI Lean Master.
